6 DAY ROUND TRIP: TASTE THE WINES OF NORTH GREECE
1st day:
Arrival in Thessaloniki. Transfer to our hotel in KAVALA city. (LUCY hotel 5*www.lucyhotel.gr or similar)
2nd day:
Excursion to Philippi KAVALA and to Adriani village next to Drama to visit the cellar of “LAZARIDIS” company one of the most important wine producer in Greece for wine-tasting. Back to the hotel in Chalkidiki area for overnight
3rd day:
Cruise to Agion Oros to the monasteries of Mount Athos. It is not allowed to enter the monasteries but you can admire them and take photos from the ship. In the afternoon we visit Agios Pavlos village to the cellar of the company “TSANTALI” for wine tasting. Overnight in Thessaloniki city
4th day:
Sightseeing tour in Thessaloniki – churches and other historical monuments: Byzantine walls, Galerius’ triumphal arch, Roman Agora, St. Dimitrios church, St. Sofia Church. In the afternoon visit the Archaeological Museum. Hotel in Olympus Riviera
5th day:
Full day dedicated to local wine producers and tsipouro producers on the mythical mount of Olympos and at the seaside of Aegena sea. Arrival back at the hotel in Olympus Riviera in the afternoon. Overnight.
6th day:
Excursion to Goumenissa to taste wine in the cellar “BOUTARI”. In the evening we reach the airport of Thessaloniki to fly back in our country full of pleasant memories.
